Drafting placeholder: Before adoption, identify the legal entity that operates proofburrow and its mailing address. This draft uses “proofburrow,” “we,” and “us” for that operator without assuming its legal name or location.
Agreement and scope
These proposed Terms describe the rules for accessing and using proofburrow and its household purchase-record vault (the “Service”). Once reviewed, completed, and adopted by the operator, they are intended to form an agreement between you and the operator when you create an account or use the Service.
If you do not agree to the final terms, do not create an account or use the Service. Mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live remain in place and are not waived by this draft.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into an agreement where you live. You are responsible for the information you provide, keeping your sign-in credentials private, and activity under your account. Tell proofburrow promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.
The owner must set and publish a minimum age and any parent or guardian process before accepting accounts from minors. This draft does not establish that the current app checks age or obtains guardian consent.
The proofburrow service
proofburrow lets you keep purchase records for items in your household vault. An item name is required. Retailer, model number, serial number, purchase date, return date, warranty date, and receipt or warranty documents are optional.
The Free plan supports up to 10 saved items. proofburrow Plus supports unlimited saved items, in-app alerts for saved return and warranty dates due within 30 days, an initial branded email to your verified account email, and one branded reminder 24 hours later for each eligible alert.
Alerts are reminders based on dates you enter. They do not verify a retailer's return policy or a manufacturer's warranty, decide whether a claim is eligible, or submit a return or warranty claim for you. Check the original terms and keep your own copies of important purchase records and deadlines.
Plans and billing
The Free plan currently costs $0 and includes up to 10 saved items. The app currently lists proofburrow Plus at $3.99 per month or $39.99 per year in U.S. dollars. Plus is a recurring subscription at the billing interval selected in hosted checkout. The offer and price shown before you complete checkout control your purchase.
Plus checkout availability is confirmed in your signed-in vault. Do not treat this draft as confirmation that checkout is enabled for a particular account. Before publication, the owner must verify and disclose renewal timing, cancellation instructions, refund treatment, taxes, and what happens after a payment fails. No cancellation method or refund promise is stated here because the current public app does not establish those terms.
Payments are handled through a hosted third-party checkout. The applicable payment terms and any mandatory consumer protections also depend on where you live.
Your records and documents
You keep the rights you have in the item details and documents you submit. You are responsible for their accuracy and for having the rights needed to store them in your account. Do not upload information or documents you are not allowed to use.
To provide the features you request, you give the operator permission to host, store, process, transmit, and display your records and documents within your account as needed to operate the Service. This draft does not promise a particular retention period, backup, recovery time, or deletion schedule; those details must be set out in the completed privacy notice and operational policy.
Acceptable use
Use the Service only for lawful personal or household recordkeeping. Do not try to access another person's account or records, interfere with the Service, bypass access controls, upload malicious material, or use the Service in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
Service ownership
The Service, including its software, name, and design, belongs to the operator or its licensors. These terms give you permission to use the Service for your own household recordkeeping; they do not transfer ownership of the Service or grant rights beyond that use.
Availability and changes
Features may change as proofburrow develops. The current app does not publish an uptime, response-time, alert-delivery, or data-recovery guarantee. The owner should provide any required notice or obtain consent before changing final terms, prices, or paid features.
Disclaimers and responsibility
proofburrow is an organizational tool. It is not a retailer, manufacturer, insurer, repair provider, or legal adviser, and it does not determine your rights under a receipt, return policy, or warranty. You remain responsible for checking dates, contacting the seller or manufacturer, and deciding what action to take.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in the final terms will exclude or limit a right or liability that applicable law does not allow the operator to exclude or limit. Counsel must complete and review any warranty exclusions, liability limits, and indemnity terms before publication.
Governing law
Nevada law governs these terms, without applying its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law requires another rule to apply. This choice does not remove consumer protections that cannot legally be waived where you live.
This draft does not select an exclusive court location, require arbitration, or waive participation in a class or representative proceeding. The owner and counsel must decide whether any additional dispute terms are appropriate and enforceable for the intended customers and jurisdictions.
Contact
Questions about proofburrow may be sent to proofburrow-8@polsia.app or through the contact form. Before publication, the owner must confirm the right legal entity, mailing address, and method for formal legal notices.
