Question 1

What is Proofburrow?

Accepted Answer

Proofburrow is a household vault for manually saving purchase records and attaching receipt or warranty documents to an item.

Question 2

What details can I save for an item?

Accepted Answer

The item name is required. Retailer, model number, serial number, purchase date, return date, and warranty date are optional, so you can save an item with only its name.

Question 3

Can I attach a receipt to an item?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Attach one receipt file from the item record: a PDF up to 50 MB, or a JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP image up to 20 MB.

Question 4

Can I save a warranty document too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An item can have a warranty document attached. You can replace or remove that document from the item record.

Question 5

Will Proofburrow send return, warranty, or recall notices?

Accepted Answer

Proofburrow Plus shows in-app alerts for return and warranty dates you saved that fall from today through the next 30 days. For each eligible alert, Plus sends an initial branded email to your verified account email and one branded reminder email 24 hours later. Both emails name the item and deadline and link to that item in your private vault. Recall notices are not available.

Question 6

Can Proofburrow submit a claim for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Claim submission is not available yet.

Question 7

What do the plans cost?

Accepted Answer

The Free plan is $0 and includes up to 10 items. Proofburrow Plus is listed at $6 per month or $59 per year, in USD. Checkout is offered only when billing availability has been confirmed for your account in the signed-in vault; the listed price alone does not mean checkout is active.
